The Umfolozi Prayer Mens League annual conference was held at Tshaneni parish at Sinethezekile high school in Jozini.
The theme of the conference was `SOLAR SCRIPTURA’ (KUNGEZWI KUPHELA)
The speech for the day was delivered by Mr ST Zulu- `SINGAWAHEHELA KANJANI AMADODA ENHLANGANWENI` meaning how can we attract men to join the prayer mens league.
Before the start of the conference on 17 July at about 14:00, members of the league visited the neighbouring homesteads just to pray with those families.
In one of the families that was visited a single mother of 6 was found and the life under which they are living was appalling and that situation forced the members of the league to make special offering of R1500-00 and bought the grocery for her which was delivered to her on Saturday 18 July in the presence of the circuit dean PS Lwandle,the chairman Dr A Mlondo and the members of the league.
Very sadly, it was noted that the area is over populated yet there is not even a single Lutheran church congregation in the area.
