The Circuit Rally in Empangeni Circuit was held on the 30th of August in the University of Zululand. Approx. 2000+ Lutheran and guests congregated to a full service with communion.
The service began with a procession and found its climax in the sermon of Dean J.S.Ndlovu. He preached about Mark 7 about uncleanliness and how to commit to Jesus. After the sermon Guest speaker K.E. Mpungose talked about committing to faith and church. He encouraged all attending to build a stronger church by committing to it whole heartedly.
Then in a mammoth session all Parishes and Leagues brought their “Insika” collection.
We were honoured by the presence of Honourable District Mayor Thembeka Mchunu who shared a word of greeting with the congregation present. The congregation was pleased by her presence.
Thereafter the church service ended with the sharing of the Holy Communion.
